We fell in love with the Isle of Wight on our very first date — when Stu flew me (Tracy) across the Solent just for an ice cream!

That spontaneous, unforgettable day sparked not only a love between us, but also a lasting connection with this beautiful island. From that moment on, we found ourselves returning again and again — each visit deepening our affection for the Isle of Wight’s charm, peace, and natural beauty.

In August 2016, we took the leap and bought a property here. For several years, we balanced island life with our work in Surrey, all the while dreaming of one day making the Isle of Wight our full-time home.

That dream began to take shape in Summer 2022, when we opened The Drey — our lovingly created retreat where guests could unwind, relax, and experience the magic of island life for themselves.

What began as a summer-only dream has become our full-time reality. We’re thrilled to now live on the Isle of Wight year-round, sharing the place that means so much to us with guests from near and far.

With projects like our heated outdoor pool (opening May 2026) and bike hire facilities now complete, we’re more committed than ever to creating a warm, welcoming retreat where you can relax, recharge, and experience the unique charm of island life.
