Born and raised just outside London in the Ruislip area, I’ve enjoyed a wonderfully varied career from organising international conferences and working in marketing at Wembley plc, to managing franchises in the electronics industry and working as a nanny in London. For 10 years, I served as a Residential Assistant Head of House at a Surrey boarding school, caring for 60 boys aged 12 to 18, a role that was both rewarding and unforgettable. When I’m not working, I love spending time outdoors — walking, cycling, cooking, gardening, and travelling whenever I can. And when the opportunity arises, there’s nothing I love more than horse riding on the beach.

I was born in Tooting Broadway and moved to Bath at the age of 10. After leaving school, I joined the Royal Air Force, where I served for 27 years as an aircraft engineer. During my time in the RAF, I was fortunate to discover a passion for flying — one that became a lifelong pursuit. Today, I’m proud to teach aspiring pilots at a commercial flying school, helping others take to the skies, whether they’re training for a career or simply chasing the joy of flight. In my spare time, I enjoy DIY projects, restoring old motorcycles, cycling, walking, and, of course, flying whenever I get the chance.
